UFC Vegas 47 Results: Sean Strickland extends winning streak with a decision win

UFC returned with UFC Vegas 47 this weekend. The main event saw a pivotal middleweight showdown between Jack Hermansson and Sean Strickland. Hermansson and Strickland went the complete distance in their fight and it was Strickland that came out as the winner in the scorecard.

The American is now on a six-fight winning streak following this win when Hermansson is now 2-3 in his last five fights with his wins coming against Edmen Shahbazyan and Kelvin Gastelum.

In the co-main event, Nick Maximov edged out Punahele Soriano to take home a split decision victory. Shavkat Rakhmonov, meanwhile, made major headlines when he secured yet another finish. He managed to stop Carlston Harris in the first-round and extended his winning streak to 15 fights.

Brendan Allen made quick work of Sam Alvey as he finished the first with a second-round submission. Bryan Battle and Julian Erosa secured wins in their respective bouts in the main card as well. You can see the complete results from the event below.
