UFC Brasilia Results: Charles Oliveira submits Kevin Lee, Burns stops Maia

UFC Rolled out UFC Brasilia today gave the combat sports fans something to cheer amidst the global coronavirus situation that is going on.

In the main event of the fight night, Charles Oliveira managed to get the better of Kevin Lee as he submitted Lee via a third round submission. With the win, Oliveira improved his submission victory count to a record of 14 and at the same time, improved his winning streak to seven fights.

Elsewhere, in the co-main event, Gilbert Burns stopped Demian Maia in the first round after landing a vicious punch. After his initial punch rocked Maia, Burns followed up with some ground and pound before the referee stepped in to stop the fight.

Renato Moicano also got a submission win at the event when he stopped Damir Hadzovic via a rear-naked choke. Nikita Krylov and Johnny Walker went the full three rounds with the judge’s ruling in favour of Krylov via a unanimous decision.
