UFC returned with UFC 269 today and the card was stacked from top to bottom. The preliminary card had some exciting fights on offer this time around and was opened by the showdown between Bruno Silva and Jordan Wright which ended in a first-round TKO win for Silva.
Tai Tuivasa continued his good run in the UFC Heavyweight division and produced a knockout in the second round against Augusto Sakai. Former Bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz returned in style and went home with a unanimous decision victory against Pedro Munhoz when Josh Emmett got the better of Dan Ige in the featured prelims.
In the early prelims, Gillian Robertson opened the card with a win against Priscila Cachoeira. Gillian secured a rear-naked submission win in the fight and this was followed by a second-round TKO win by Tony Kelley.
Ryan Hall’s return proved to be memorable as he edged out Darrick Minner via a unanimous decision. Erin Blanchfield and Andre Muniz also secured wins in the early prelims. You can see the complete results from the UFC 269 preliminary fight card below.
