I could take out Khabib, Conor can fight Hasbulla: O Malley lightens up

Sean O’Malley is set to make his return at UFC 269 this weekend. He goes up against Raulian Paiva at the event and will be looking to continue his impressive run in the promotion with another win.

Ahead of his much-awaited return, O Malley sat down for a fun interview with Barstool Sports and gave his thoughts on Khabib Nurmagomedov and Hasbulla. Although jokingly, O’Malley said that he could take out Khabib and that Conor McGregor could take on Hasbulla.

The Bantamweight star also added that he would not fight internet sensation Hasbulla.

“A lot of people don’t like that I’m Irish, but I’m Irish. Well, I could probably take out Khabib, Conor would have to take out Hasbulla. I wouldn’t fight him (Hasbulla). He would take me out, chop me down,” O’Malley said jokingly.

Currently holding a professional record of 14-1 to his name and is riding on a two-fight winning streak. The only loss in his MMA career came back in 2020 against Marlon Vera and O’Malley has been unstoppable since. Raulian, meanwhile, comes into the fight with a professional record of 21-3 to his name and is on a three-fight winning streak at the moment.

He entered the UFC roster through the Dana White Contender Series and has already fought names like Kai Kara France, Mark De La Rosa, and Kyler Phillips among others in the UFC.
