ONE Champion Thanh Le confident that he can finish Conor McGregor

ONE Championship featherweight champion Thanh Le is confident that he can stop former UFC Double champion, Conor McGregor.

He was asked about a potential fight with McGregor in a recent Instagram Q and A and in the same.

"I would look like this again. And he would look like this too, except with his eyes closed,” Le said when asked about how a match with Conor McGregor would go down.

Thanh Le currently holds a professional MMA record of 13-2 to his name and is currently undefeated in ONE Championship. The American made his debut in ONE Championship back in 2019 and has gone on to secure a record of 5-0 in the promotion.

He captured the ONE Featherweight title from Martin Nguyen back at ONE: Inside the Matrix and had his first title defense recently against Garry Tonon at ONE: Lights Out in 2022.

Prior to joining ONE Championship, Le had fought in promotions such as LFA, WFC, and the Dana White’s Contender Series where he picked up a win against Lazar Stojadinovic.

Conor, meanwhile, has been out of action for a long time due to the injury that he picked up against Dustin Poirier.

The Irishman is currently 22-6 in his professional MMA career and is 2-3 in his last five fights with his wins coming against Eddie Alvarez and Donald Cerrone when he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier.
