The longest-reigning BRAVE Combat Federation world champion is eager to add to his list of title defences. Bantamweight King Stephen Loman says he's ready to get back to action after BRAVE CF recently announced it is ready to resume action following a pause due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a live chat, part of the BRAVE CF IG Takeover Series for the fastest-growing MMA promotion in the world, "The Sniper" took on fans' questions and spoke at length about his career, motivations, training, and future.
Loman guarantees that he's ready to go for his fifth title defence as soon as BRAVE CF announces the next events in its calendar, and says he's been able to train every day even though he was in lockdown.
"I have been able to train constantly throughout the lockdown period. I do cardio and technique training every day and I'm ready to fight and defend my title once again", said Loman, who also explained he doesn't see himself going up to Featherweight anytime soon.
"I don't think I'm changing weight-classes anytime soon. I know what my strengths are and how they translate against Bantamweights, what techniques I should use, and how to implement them against men of my size. I don't think I'll change that anytime soon".
Stephen also spoke of his gratitude for BRAVE CF, as he has transformed into one of the rising stars of mixed martial arts through his undefeated status with the organization. Under BRAVE CF, Loman has six wins in as many outings, including his latest title defense, when he dominated Louie Sanoudakis at BRAVE CF 30, in India.
"I believe BRAVE CF has done all the right moves to become the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world and reach a high-level in the industry. It has given a proper platform for fighters like myself to showcase their talents and I'm forever thankful for BRAVE CF for making me a world champion"
