Seth Rosario ready for a three-round war with Zahoor Shah at MFN 9

Matrix Fight Night 9 (MFN 9) is all set to host an exciting catchweight super fight between India’s Seth Rosario and Afghanistan’s Zahoor Shah. The fight, which will happen at 75KG will see both fighters trying to continue their winning streaks which further raises the stake.

Shah is coming off a huge KO win over Indian MMA star Srikant Sekhar who interestingly, happens to be his teammate of Seth. Seth, on the other hand, has a record of 5-0 to his name and is on a two-fight winning streak with wins over Mohit Arya and Prakram Dandona in his last two fights.

Speaking ahead of the fight, Seth noted that his preparations for the fight has been intense.

“Mine is the super fight against Zahoor Shah at catchweight, at 75 KG. I’m really looking forward to it. The preparations have been very intense for this one, with a lot of mental and physical challenges that I’ve already overcome. I’m going into this confident. Zahoor has very good wrestling and very heavy hands as well. I need to be careful on the feet and the ground,” he said.

Seth has been a mainstay in the Indian MMA circuit for nearly a decade now and he is expecting to put on a show for the fans at MFN 9 when he fights Zahoor Shah at Siri Fort in Delhi.

“We prepared well for everything and my prediction, if I had to give a prediction for the fight would be, a three-round war and a decision in my favor. It would be a banger in the first round, maybe slow down in the second round and third-round it would turn in my favor,” Seth added.

Matrix Fight Night 9 happens on 24 June 2022 and will be headlined by the international bout between India’s Sanjeet Budhwar and Đorđe Stojanović of Serbia. Jojo Rajkumari will be in the co-main event as she fights Mary Jane Buna of the Philippines.
