SFL Contenders Night and Indian Open MMA Championship to happen in November

Delhi will be hosting the SFL Contenders Night and Indian Open MMA championship in November. The event will take place from 12 November 2021 to 14 November 2021 at Dr. Sahib Singh Verma Stadium, Sector-16, Dwarka, Delhi and will include Pro and Amateur fights for Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior Categories.

The amateur fights will be of three rounds of two minutes each when the professional fights will be three rounds of five minutes each. The online registration for the event will close on 31 October 2021 and the event will be led by Saba Qureshi, Talent Director of Super Fight League, and Harsh Dahiya, Director of Fight Council of India.

The event will be held with strict COVID protocols and the fighters will be responsible for carrying their own uniform and safety equipment due to the same.

The winners in the amateur category will be awarded medals when the winners in the professional MMA Category will be awarded pro-belts and cash prizes. Further details regarding the event can be accessed through the Fight Council of India page on Instagram which you can find here
