Rodtang says that Demetrious Johnson will not make it out of first round

It is going to be MMA vs. Muay Thai at ONE X when Rodtang Jitmuangnon fights Demetrious Johnson in a special rules match.

For the uninitiated, the fight will be of four rounds with the rounds alternating between Muay-Thai and MMA rules. The first round will have Muay-Thai rules and ONE Flyweight Muay-Thai Champion Rodtang thinks that Demetrious Johnson will not make it beyond the first round.

Rodtang is so confident that he mentioned the same in his recent Instagram post.

“At ONE X, Demetrious Johnson will not make it out of the first round,” the Muay-Thai star wrote along with a picture of him and Demetrious Johnson.

The Thai fighter is coming into the showdown with Johnson with plenty of momentum on his side having secured wins over Danial Williams, Tagir Khalilov, and Petchdam Gaiyanghadao in his last three Muay-Thai outings.

Demetrious Johnson, on the other hand, is coming off his loss against ONE Flyweight MMA champion Adriano Moraes and will be looking to bounce back strongly from the same.

Prior to this loss, he was on a three-fight winning streak having defeated Danny Kingad, Tatsumitsu Wada, and Yuya Wakamatsu. Apart from the showdown between Johnson and Rodtang, ONE X will also have a string of other exciting ones including the ONE Atomweight Title showdown between Stamp Fairtex and Angela Lee.
