Rodtang: Aung La N Sang is the most exciting fighter in ONE Championship

Muay-Thai star Rodtang feels that Aung La N Sang is the most exciting fighter in ONE Championship. The ONE Muay-Thai Flyweight champions said that The Burmese Python adapts in every fight.

"First name I’m thinking is Aung La. I like his specific fighting style; you’ll always see him adapt in every fight. On the other hand, he’s a hero, everyone in Myanmar loves him and I wanted to be like him,” he told in a recent interview with Sportskeeda.

Aung La N Sang is a former two-division champion in ONE Championship having held the ONE Middleweight title and the ONE Light Heavyweight title. Hailing from Myanmar, he has been ONE Championship for a long time now and is coming off a loss against Vitaly Bigdash in his last fight.

The 36-year-old is considered to be a role model for many up-and-coming youngsters and it is a path that Rodtang would love to follow with his career as well.

"I’m proud of myself that I can maintain being the champ until now. Being the champ in ONE has changed my life a lot. I can take care of my whole family. I can be a role model to many people and make a reputation to Thailand and my hometown Pattalung. I’ve got a lot of respect from people. Those younger generations have me as their hero; I’m their role model. I always teach them some Muay Thai techniques,” Rodtang added.

Rodtang will be returning to action at ONE X in a much-awaited special rules bout against Demetrious Johnson. The fight will be of four rounds with the rounds alternating between Muay-Thai and MMA Rules. ONE X will happen on March 26, 2022 and has a stacked card on offer which will be headlined by the ONE Atomweight title showdown between Stamp Fairtex and Angela Lee.
