Ritu Phogat dominates in her second MMA fight in ONE Championship

India’s Ritu Phogat delivered a dominating performance last day at ONE Championship: King of the Jungle when she defeated Wu Chiao Chen of China via a unanimous decision.

Ritu, who made her professional MMA debut a few months back with a first-round TKO win, relied on her ground skills this time around as well to get the dominant decision. The wrestling skills and the strength of the Indian proved too much for Chen to handle as she was on the back foot throughout the three rounds.

The Chinese MMA star had no answers to the dominance of Ritu and eventually was outclassed in the scorecards. With the win, Ritu Phogat is now 2-0 in her MMA career and will continue her pursuit of the ONE championship gold when she fights next.

Elsewhere, in the main event of ONE: King of the Jungle, Janet Todd dethroned Stamp Fairtex to become the new ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion.
