Ritu Phogat produced yet another impressive performance in ONE Championship last day when she outclassed Jomary Torres of the Philippines via a first-round TKO at ONE: BIG BANG.

Ritu, who had made her Mixed Martial Arts debut last year, has been on an unstoppable run ever since having picked up four back to back wins in ONE Championship.

It was her wrestling skills that came into play at ONE: BIG BANG against Torres. The Indian managed to land a takedown just a couple of minutes into the first round itself and went on to land multiple successful transitions. Ritu then managed to land in the crucifix position from where she landed some nasty elbows and punches which forced the referee to call for the stoppage. You can see the complete fight video below.

With the defeat, Jomary Torres is now riding on a five-fight losing streak and will be looking to bounce back strongly in her next fight. Ritu, on the other hand, will be looking to continue her momentum onto 2021 and pursue her goal of becoming the ONE Atomweight Champion.
