Reinier De Ridder has been looking for an opponent for quite some time now. The two-division ONE World Champion is sitting on two recent wins against Aung La N Sang and has called out a long list of names at Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and even Heavyweight.
In his recent interview with ONE Championship where De Ridder was asked what he will give for his ONE Championship contenders for Christmas, De Ridder blasted Vitaly Bigdash saying that Bigdash never shows up.
“Let me see how I’ll phrase this – I’ll give him a contract that he cannot terminate. I’ll give him a contract that he cannot terminate because this guy always signs but never shows up. It’s time to show up,” De Ridder noted.
The Dutchman also went on to say that he would love to train with Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida who has been a force to reckon with in the ONE Championship so far.
“Just props, man. One of the greatest grapplers to ever do it. A real idol of mine. I hope he does well in his career. Great fighter. I’d give him some rounds. It would be cool to train with him. I really look up to the guy,” he added.
