ONE Championship double champion Reinier De Ridder is all set to make his ONE Championship return at ONE: Full Circle when he fights ONE Welterweight champion Kiamrian Abbasov. The Dutchman will be putting his ONE Middleweight title on the line in the fight and will be looking to remain unbeaten.
Ahead of the fight, De Ridder seems to be confident and in his latest Instagram post, he asked ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong to keep the $50,000 performance bonus ready.
“@yodchatri get the performance bonus ready" De Ridder wrote.
ONE Championship had introduced the performance bonus recently and the decision was met with positive responses as well. At ONE: Bad Blood, the newly crowned ONE Interim Heavyweight Champion Anatoly Malykhin was given a double bonus of $100,000 as well.
As for De Ridder, he is currently coming of two back-to-back wins against Aung La N Sang and had earlier expressed his interest in moving down to Welterweight or moving up to Heavyweight.
The Dutch Knight is currently 14-0 in his professional MMA career and made his ONE Championship debut back in 2019 with a KO win over Gilberto Galvao. He then went on to take home a decision win over Leandro Ataides as well before getting his two wins over Aung La N Sang.
De Ridder now fights Kiamrian Abbasov at ONE: Full Circle on 25 February 2022. Who do you think will emerge victoriously? Let us know your predictions in the comment section of the article below.
