Reinier De Ridder is all set to defend the ONE Middleweight title at ONE: Full Circle when he fights ONE Welterweight champion Kiamrian Abbasov. This will be the first fight for De Ridder following his wins over Aung La N Sang.
De Ridder has been vocal about opponents not taking up the fight against him and in a recent interview with ONE Championship, he reiterated the same.
The Dutchman revealed that he is still interested in a fight with ONE Heavyweight champion Arjan Bhullar while also throwing in some interesting names.
“I’d still like the [Arjan] Bhullar fight. He’s been running from it for a while, and it might be time to do it. But the other guys are fine as well – Brandon Vera. [Leandro] Ataides is the only one that got away. Maybe one of the Japanese legends if they can come through, [Yushin] Okami, or ‘Sexyama’ [Yoshihiro Akiyama]. Whoever, whenever, whatever weight they want,” De Ridder said.
