ONE X Full Results: Angela Lee retains against Stamp, DJ submits Rodtang

ONE X celebrated ten years of ONE Championship’s contributions to martial arts and was stacked from floor to ceiling. 

The main event highlighted ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee’s title defense against Thai superstar Stamp Fairtex. 

The co-main event illustrated special rules super-fight between 12x MMA World Champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and Muay Thai master Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon.

Lee came out banging, swinging against Stamp and pressing her against the cage. She immediately went to work to try to bring Stamp down to the ground, but Stamp was able to break away. The American held control, but Stamp landed heavy knees that forced the women to disengage. 

In round two, Lee once more walked into the clinch, working hard to bring her opponent down. Once she did, “Unstoppable” landed several knees to Stamp’s face and worked for various submissions, including her signature “Twister.” She finally defeated Stamp with ten seconds left in the second round via rear-naked choke.

The co-headliner was renowned for its special rules, with the first and third rounds focusing solely on Muay Thai, and the second and fourth rounds set for mixed martial arts. 

As the beginning of the co-main bout started with Muay Thai rules, Rodtang stepped out swinging with crazed hooks that connected against Johnson’s head. 

“DJ” immediately closed the distance by clinching until Rodtang broke the action. Rodtang kept complete control of the Circle, stalking Johnson as he worked his opponent’s head and body with strikes. 

Johnson survived the initial round by keeping Rodtang against the cage and clinching.

In the second round, Johnson worked Rodtang around the Circle until he found the perfect moment to drag him to the ground. He laid heavy on top of his opponent until he was able to take Rodtang’s back and sink in the rear-naked choke. 

“The Iron Man” held on until the bitter end, refusing to tap, but he was ultimately submitted by “Mighty Mouse.” See all the results from the event below.
