Matrix Fight Night 8: Badakhshi vs. Oliveira headlines, full fight card

Matrix Fight Night returns with Matrix Fight Night 8 on April 1, 2022, and the event will be headlined by the Featherweight showdown between Afghanistan’s Abdul Azim Badakhshi and Brazil’s Fabricio Oliveira.

The event will happen at Siri Fort in Delhi and has a stacked card on offer apart from the main event.

In the co-main event, Dhruv Chaudhary will be looking to continue his impressive run against Sanjeet Budhwar who also has been a force to reckon with in MFN. Dhruv is coming off a win against Sumeet Khade in his last fight when Sanjeet will be looking to bounce back from his decision loss to Jacky Gahlot.

Captain Crazy Srikant Sekhar will be in action at the event when he fights Zahoor Shah of Afghanistan in a lightweight contest. Srikant has only lost to Anshul Jubli in the promotion and will be looking to keep it that way when he steps into the cage.

Angad Bisht vs. Chaitanya Gavali will be another major attraction on the card. Angad had outclassed Chungren Koren in his last fight when it is a must-win scenario for Chaitanya who had suffered a loss to Sanjeet Budhwar in his promotional debut.

Shyamanand returns after his stellar performance in the last event as he fights Krishna Heer in a Featherweight contest.

Chungren Koren will be looking to pick up his first win in the promotion when he fights Aman Saini. Chungren was scheduled to fight Anthony Syiem initially at the event but Anthony had to withdraw after suffering an injury.

The undercard will witness the promotional debut of some exciting names. One of the veterans in the Indian MMA circuit, Kushal Vyas goes up against Rahul Thapa who has piled up medals at the National level during his amateur run.

Musa Raish returns against Bonjovi in an exciting Flyweight bout when two of the most dynamic young names in the Indian MMA circuit, Sagar Thapa and Tanish Gupta will go head-to-head in the opening bout. You can see the complete fight card for the event below.
