Another exciting fight has been announced for Matrix Fight Night 6 as Srikant Sekhar will be fighting Vikas Ruhil in a Lightweight contest.
Srikant comes into the fight on the back of a professional record of 5-5 with his last fight coming against Anshul Jubli. Although Srikant had suffered a defeat in the fight, he was undefeated in the four fights prior to the same having picked up wins over big names like Rajinder Singh Meena and Jason Ramesh Solomon, both via submission. Training out of Indian Combat Sports Academy, Srikant had earlier expressed his interest to fight Vikas as well.
Vikas Ruhil, who trains out of Team Relentless, is 12-6 in his professional MMA career. He is on a seven-fight winning streak and has not lost a fight since 2017. He has so far had three wins in Matrix Fight Night with the latest coming against Kuldeep Singh Sekhon at Matrix Fight Night 4 where he won via submission in the second round.
Earlier, the co-main event between Anshul Jubli and Farhad Hazratzada was announced by Matrix Fight Night. Farhad will be the first foreign fighter on the Matrix Fight Night platform and will have the huge task of stopping Anshul Jubli who has been undefeated so far in his professional MMA career having picked up four wins.
Matrix Fight Night is expected to announce more fights for Matrix Fight Night 6 in the coming days. The event is scheduled to happen on 24 September 2021 in Dubai. The event was scheduled to happen earlier this year but was postponed due to the pandemic.
