The much-awaited Matrix Fight Night 6 is set to happen at the Palazzo Versace Dubai on Friday, September 24, 2021.
As reported earlier, the event will be headlined by the Lightweight contest between Anshul Jubli of India and Mohd. Mahmoudiyan of Iran. Anshul is coming into the fight on the back of an undefeated record and will be looking to extend the same when he steps into the cage with Mahmoudiyan who will become the first non-Indian fighter to compete at MFN.
In the co-main event, Jacky Gahlot and Sanjeet Budhwar will be looking to build on the momentum of their recent wins. Both Jacky and Sanjeet secured wins in their last fights and the stakes are high for their co-main event showdown.
Sandeep Dahiya and Amit Raj will fight in a catchweight bout which promises to be an entertaining affair. Sandeep and Amit have a combined number of 17 finishes between them out of their combined total of 19 wins.
Srikant Sekhar returns to the MFN cage as well and he will be going up against promotional newcomer Satyajit Changmai. Satyajit is undefeated in his MMA career so far with a record of 4-0 and stepped into the fight on short notice after Vikas Ruhil was unable to compete due to a shoulder injury.
Another short notice fight that will be happening at the event will be between Seth Rosario and Mohit Arya. Mohit Arya, who has been on an impressive run in the domestic circuit, stepped in on short notice after Hemant Wadekar had to pull out due to an injury.
Musa Raish vs. Abhimanyu Rai is another major attraction on the card whereas Puja Tomar will go up against Jojo Rajkumari in the lone women’s fight. A veteran in the Indian MMA Circuit, Puja will be making her promotional debut against Jojo who recently made headlines with her story.
Coming off impressive wins in their last fights, Punyajit Likharu and Anthony Syiem is bound to produce an entertaining affair when the card will be opened by the trilogy bout between Sumeet Khade and Dhruv Chaudhary. Sumeet and Dhruv are currently 1-1 in head-to-head matches and the showdown at MFN 6 is bound to be a decider. You can see the complete fight card below.
