I twisted my knee: Lito Adiwang hoping for a quick return after ONE X

Team Lakay star Lito Adiwang suffered an injury at ONE X which in turn gave him a TKO loss against fellow Filipino fighter Jeremy Miado. And now, the Filipino MMA star has given an update on his condition and revealed that he twisted his knee during the fight.

He went on to note that he was hoping to put on a good show for the fans at ONE X.

“I really wanted to give a birthday present to our supporters and fans of ONE Championship. I was really hoping to go there and give my best and give a good show, entertain our crowd but unfortunately this thing happened. I twisted my knee,” he said.

Adding further, Adiwang congratulated Miado on the win and expressed his desire for a potential rematch in the future. He also took time out to thank ONE Championship chairman Chatri Sityodtong for the opportunity.

For Adiwang, this is the second-straight loss as he had suffered a defeat to Jarred Brooks in his last bout. He was riding high on momentum prior to this and it would be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
