Lito Adiwang comes into the fight with a professional MMA record of 13-3 to his name. In his last fight, Lito outclassed Hexigetu and prior to that, he had secured a win over Namiki Kawahara as well. Lito’s only loss in ONE Championship came back in 2020 when he suffered a close split decision loss to Hiroba Minowa.

Jarred Brooks, meanwhile, holds a record of 16-2 to his name. and has not suffered a loss in his last four fights. The fight against Lito will be the promotional debut for Jarred who has previously fought in Bellator, Rizin, and UFC among other promotions.

Pre-fight Trash Talk

Both Lito and Jarred were seen engaging in trash talk on social media with Jarred claiming that he wants to cut the mullet of Lito after the fight. During his recent interview with ONE Championship, Lito noted that he was irritated by Jarred’s comments and that he wants to settle the scores soon.

Ranking implications

Lito Adiwang is currently sitting in the fifth position at the ONE Championship Strawweight rankings. A win could help him get closer to the top position which is currently being held by the ONE Strawweight champion and Lito’s Team Lakay teammate Joshua Pacio. As for Jarred, a win against Lito could help him break into the Top-Five and push his case for a title fight with another win in the promotion.
