Team Lakay star Lito Adiwang will be seen back in action this weekend at ONE: NEXT GEN III when he fights Jarred Brooks in a much-awaited clash. The fight will serve as the main event for the show which airs on November 26, 2021, Friday.

Speaking to ONE Championship, Lito noted that he is excited by the prospect of testing his skills against Brooks.

“I’m just very happy that at least, despite it being canceled a few months ago, it’s finally happening. I want to test my skills against the best in the world. And yeah, Jarred thinks that he’s the best in this division. So I want to test my skills against him,” he said.

Lito also opened up about the trash talk that happened ahead of the fight which saw Jarred Brooks claiming that he wants to cut Lito’s mullet after the fight.

“That comes from me just getting irritated by him. I saw his comments in my post before that he wants to cut my mullet after beating me. So yeah, let’s go, let’s settle the score first, then maybe he can worry about that after. Because he’s got so many more problems other than my mullet,” he added.

When concluding, ‘The Thunder Kid’ said that he cannot wait to get inside the circle and fight.

“I’m just excited. And I hope he’s excited as well because I’ve been preparing for him. I don’t think he has excuses anymore because the postponement gave us both time to prepare longer. I don’t want to say anything anymore, Let’s go. Let’s get this done,” he concluded.
