Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor: Full Fight Video from UFC 229

UFC has released the full fight video of Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor which headlined the UFC 229 pay-per-view. The fight video was an instant hit on the YouTube channel of UFC having garnered more than 1.5 million hits in just 24 hours.

For the uninitiated, the much-awaited showdown between Khabib and Conor happened back in October 2018 at UFC 229 and was won by Khabib via a fourth-round submission.

The event which took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Nevada was a huge success story for the UFC as well having garnered a total gate of $17,188,894.67 along with an attendance of 20,034. Below are the stats from the fights.

After the fight, Conor took a long gap from competing in the UFC and later returned to fight Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at UFC 246 and secured a first-round stoppage victory.

Khabib Nurmagomedov, on the other hand, fought Dustin Poirier after his win against Conor and secured a third-round submission win. The Russian was scheduled to fight Tony Ferguson at UFC 249 but the fight had to be cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

UFC subsequently booked a fight between Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje for the event in which Gaethje came out on top via a stoppage win. Gaethje has been now lobbying for a showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov while McGregor has also shown in interest to fight Gaethje and Khabib.
