American author, talk show host, political commentator, and activist Candance Owens is not impressed by the recent comments from Khabib Nurmagomedov in which he asked the UFC Welterweights to boycott Colby Covington.
Reacting to the comments from Khabib on Twitter, Candace said that MMA is a man’s sport where there is no room for such soft sentiments.
“Right? This is so embarrassing. Calling for a boycott. ???????? He better go buy a p**y hat and join the NBA. MMA is a man’s sport,” she tweeted out.
The tweet from Khabib came out last day following the arrest of UFC star Jorge Masvidal who reportedly attacked Colby Covington in Miami.
"I think all welterweights should refuse to fight Colby, just don't accept fights with him, let him sit without a fight. It] will probably significantly affect him and all fighters who even think of insulting families, who is provoking the fighters to look for someone in restaurants to deal with him,” Khabib had noted in his tweet.

Masvidal pleaded not guilty to the felony charges and as per ESPN, he is scheduled for his next court appearance on April 21. Masvidal and Covington had fought in the main event of UFC 272 recently with Covington dominating the fight and taking home a comfortable decision win.
