Ali Abdelaziz believes that Khabib Nurmagomedov has what it takes to finish UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya in three rounds if the two were to fight at Middleweight.

Ali talked about the same during a recent interview and noted that Khabib can hang in with Light Heavyweights and Heavyweights.

“I’m gonna say something, and I know a lot of people gonna talk bad (about it)… Khabib now weighs 200 pounds. If Khabib comes tomorrow and cut to 185, he will stop Israel Adesanya in three rounds, this is my opinion. I see it. He beat heavyweights, light heavyweights, welterweights, and lightweights. He’s unstoppable. He’s like a tractor-trailer,” Ali noted (h/t MMA News).

He further went on to add that Adesanya will not be able to stop the wrestling of Khabib.

“Styles, if Khabib wants to come back and talk with Dana White, say, ‘Let me fight at middleweight,’ he will finish Israel Adesanya in three rounds because of the style of fights. (Adesanya) cannot stop his wrestling, he cannot stop his grappling. Striking, of course, Israel is the best striker on this planet. But he (Khabib) can come back and fight middleweight and become a champion today,” Ali added.

Khabib retired from MMA with a perfect record of 29-0 to his name and has been busy with his roles as a coach and a promoter. Adesanya, on the other hand, has been unstoppable at Middleweight.
