Kantharaj Agasa ruled out of Leverage X after testing positive for COVID-19

Indian MMA star Kantharaj Agasa has been ruled out of the Leverage X tournament after testing positive for COVID-19. Kantharaj will be going into quarantine for the next fourteen days as a result.

Kantharaj was scheduled to face Navdeep Agarwal of Team Relentless in the opening round of Leverage X on May 1, 2021, in Delhi. The Leverage Fight Night team noted that they are currently looking for a replacement.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive statement, Kantharaj advised all the athletes to not take the Coronavirus lightly and urged everyone to take proper precautions. He also wished the best to the athletes that were competing in the tournament.

The Indian had recently signed with ONE Championship and is awaiting his promotional debut as well.
