Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya have been dominating their respective divisions in the UFC for quite a long time now. Usman has been unstoppable in the Welterweight division when Adesanya has a similar story at Middleweight.
Despite their friendship, a lot of people have talked about the possibility of a potential super fight between the two and in a recent interview, Kamaru Usman was quizzed about the same.
In the interview, Usman laid out the conditions under which he would consider a fight with Adesanya.
“Adesanya is my guy, that’s something me and him would have to discuss. There’s a difference between fighting and competing. If me and him decide we want to compete, and the UFC is throwing $100 million at us, then we’ll make it happen,” Usman said (h/t LowKickMMA).

Recently, Usman’s managed Ali Abdelaziz had also thrown in the possibility and gave his take on the situation.
“Listen, these guys, they’re cool but I don’t think they’re best friends. If there is enough money for both of them to fight, they will fight in the parking lot. I know how people work. This has nothing to do with loyalty, because these guys, it’s not like they’re training partners or brothers. They’re African brothers and that holds a lot of value … but at the end of the day, I’m Kamaru Usman’s team all the way. I want to see Kamaru Usman, before the end of the road, have two titles. I’m selfish, I’m greedy, and I think Kamaru deserves it,” Ali said (h/t BJPenn.com).
