KHK Sports has taken another monumental step towards the development of martial arts in the Gulf region. The organization, created by His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, from the Kingdom of Bahrain, has established a partnership deal with premier boxing organization WBC (World Boxing Council).
The partnership between the two industry titans will create the first-ever world Arab championship belt in the history of the organization, which promises to open the door for a new age in Middle East Boxing.

What makes this special is the focus on the development of grassroots to bringing a new system into the sport of boxing. WBC is one of the largest and most reputed boxing bodies and the World Arab Championship belt will add a big opportunity for the future of boxing in the region", said Mohammed Shahid, CEO of KHK Sports.
The World Boxing Council is one of the premier boxing organizations worldwide and has recognized as world champions legendary figures such as Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Sugar Ray Leonard, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Roy Jones Jr, Julio Cezar Chavez, as well as star fighters from today, like Canelo Alvárez, Manny Pacquiao, Tyson Fury, and Vasyl Lomachenko.
