Coming off a two-win streak inside the BRAVE Combat Federation arena, Carl “The Bomber” Booth is looking to extend his victorious run and not even the adverse conditions of his next challenge, against Leonardo “Macarrão” Mafra in his home town of Balneário Camboriú, Brazil, seem to slow down the Englishman's confidence.

Commenting on the upcoming bout in his official Instagram account, Booth guaranteed he’s not only beating Mafra despite the home field advantage, he’s using it as motivation to do so in style, making a case for a potential world title match up next.

“I’m looking forward to my fight next month with the explosive Leonardo Mafra”, Booth said. “I can’t wait to massacre him in front of his home crowd and solidify myself as a number one contender for the BRAVE CF world title”.

With a professional record of 9 wins and three losses, Carl Booth is no stranger to BRAVE CF title bouts. The Bomber challenged the Welterweight title in the past but ended up defeated by the inaugural champion Carlston Harris in five rounds. In his most recent appearances, Booth beat Dino Bagatin and Hayder Hassan, respectively, via KO and unanimous decision.

Booth’s opponent, Leonardo Mafra, will be making a very special homecoming bout. Born and raised in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil, Mafra hasn’t fought at home since 2014. With a professional record of 15 wins and 5 losses, the TUF Brazil vet beat Netherland’s Djamil Chan in his last BRAVE CF appearance.

BRAVE CF 35 will take place on March 28th, 2020 in Balneário Camboriú and marks the fifth time the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world hosts an event in Brazil. The country will become the number one home of BRAVE Combat Federation alongside the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The show, the first promoted by the Bahrain-based promotion outside of Curitiba and Belo Horizonte in Brazil, is headlined by Cleiton “Predator” making the first defense of his Lightweight title against Sweden’s Guram Kutateladze.
