Jarred Brooks made a huge statement with his promotional debut in ONE Championship as he outclassed Team Lakay star Lito Adiwang. Brooks is now set to fight Hiroba Minowa at ONE: Only the Brave on January 28, 2022. The American has also made his intentions clear to capture the ONE Strawweight title from Joshua Pacio.

While a lot of things are lined up for Brooks, he is interested in facing Rodtang Jitmuangnon as well in a special rules fight.

“I want to p*ss Rodtang off, man. I hope it does get in his head because I want to fight him. I think it'd be a really fun fight. He's usually going against some string beans that are really good,” Brooks told ONE Championship (h/t Sportskeeda)

Rodtang is set to fight former UFC Champion Demetrious Johnson in a special rules fight at ONE: X. Brooks said that he is open to such a match with Rodtang and even gave his take on what will happen during the Muay-Thai rounds of the match.

“I think my power is actually there when I want to use it and if I'm actually put into those rules, then you know I can comply with it, but I haven’t done that Muay Thai sh*t like he's done since, you know, age 4,” Brooks added.
