Jarred Brooks made a statement in his ONE Championship promotional debut a few weeks back. Brooks outclassed Team Lakay Star Lito Adiwang in impressive fashion and now, he has his eyes set firmly on the ONE Strawweight title.
Brooks is currently scheduled to face Hiroba Minowa at ONE: Only the Brave on January 28, 2022, and he is confident of getting a win in the showdown and then taking the title away from reigning champion Joshua Pacio.
"No hard feelings, but after this fight, we are going to get it - and it's going to be a masterpiece,” Brooks noted in an interview with Sportskeeda.

‘The Monkeygod’ further went on to add that the ONE Championship Strawweight division needs some fresh air and addressed Bokang as well.
"ONE needs a little bit of fresh air in the division. Bokang is the No.1 contender but unfortunately, South African people can't go anywhere right now. So I think that I would be the perfect match-up for Joshua Pacio. Even ONE said it - I'm the No.1 fight that they wanted to see in 2022. I'm super excited to be on a platform like ONE and going against an opponent like Hiroba and just showcasing pure violence, technique, and heart,” Brooks added.
