Bangalore is all set to host the India Open Women’s Amateur MMA championship on March 8, 2020. The event, which will fall on the Women’s Day will be exclusively for Women athletes and is conducted by Association of Mixed Martial Arts Karnataka in association with Abhiva Crossfit Arena Mahadevapura.
The event, sanctioned by MMA India, will be held at Ranganatha Layout, Chinappa Layout, Mahadevapura in Banglore and registrations can be done by contacting 9731696107.
President of AMMAK, Prasad Gaitonde noted the following on his Social Media page along with the poster of the event.
“This small step will bring huge changes in days to come, support us not as a championship but as an initiative,” he noted.
It was also noted that the purpose of the championship is to empower women MMA athletes in India and to give exclusive attention to them.
