UFC Champion Valentina Shevchenko had a successful acting outing alongside Halle Berry at Bruised. While most people thought that it was a one-time thing, Shevchenko is apparently open to doing more acting projects between her fights.

“I would love to. Yes, it was an amazing experience to work with Halle Berry. She’s an amazing person, an amazing actress, and amazing director. And I definitely would love to continue this path all my life,” Shevchenko said in her recent interview (h/t MMA News).

She further went on to add that an acting career will not distract her.

“And I don’t (think) it’s challenging to do it at the same time (between fights). I think it’s completely doable. And I’m willing to do that, and I know that it’s (not) going to be any distraction for my fights. And I know I have to come back and maybe ask Halle to do Bruised 2. I think she would love to do that,” Shevchenko added.

Shevchenko is currently coming off a win against Taila Santos at UFC 275 and has been reigning on top of the UFC Women’s Flyweight division for a long time now. She has also expressed her interest in fighting former UFC Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate who is set to drop to Flyweight soon.

If Shevchenko indeed decides to turn into acting, she will join the ranks of names like Ronda Rousey, Michael Bisping, and George St Pierre who have already tried their hands in acting.
