Gina Carano is no stranger to controversial opinions. The former MMA fighter has made headlines multiple times with her quotes and recently, she is back in the headlines for claiming that the Russian invasion of Ukraine is a conspiracy.

Russia started a large-scale invasion of Ukraine, one of its southwest neighbors, on February 24, 2022. According to early reports, it was Europe's largest conventional warfare campaign since World War II. It was a significant escalation in the hostilities between the two countries, which had been at odds since 2014.

Considered to be one of the pioneers of Women’s MMA, Carano had a professional MMA record of 7-1 before retiring from the sport. Her only loss came against Cris Cyborg back in 2009 which was also her last MMA fight. She made her MMA debut back in 2006 and went on to build a 7-0 record by outclassing names like Tony Evinger, Julie Kedzie, and Kaitlin Young among others.
The Mandalorian star was recently fired from Lucasfilms as well for an outrageous take on vaccination.
