Faizan Anwar goes 9-0 in his professional boxing career

Faizan Anwar came into the event with a record of 8-0 to his name and managed to outclass Octavian Gratii via a decision to improve his record to 9-0. He is currently the top pound-for-pound boxer in India as per BoxRec and will apparently make a quick turnaround and fight in November.

Prior to this win, Faizan had defeated an experienced Ricky Sismundo of the Philippines who also happens to be the training partner of the legendary Manny Pacquiao. Lalrinsanga Tlau gets stoppage win

WBC World Youth Champion Lalrinsanga Tlau (Sangtea) went up against Ilia Beruashvili of Georgia at the event and got a fourth-round stoppage win to continue his good run. This was the first fight of Sangtea after his WBC World Youth Title win which happened back in March 2021. With the win, Sangtea now has improved his professional boxing record to 6-0 with three of those wins coming via stoppages.

Before the fight, Lalrinsanga had noted on his social media pages that he is moving to Dubai to further his boxing career and is expected to make a quick return. In preparation for the fight, he was also seen training with multiple-time world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux.

The event which happened in Conrad, Dubai was streamed live in India as pay-per-view through BookMyShow and Zonet.
