Team India is all set to make a mark at the IMMAF World Championship which is scheduled to happen in Abu Dhabi in January. One of the names that will be at the tournament as part of India's official team will be Dr. Divya Nitin Singh who is the Chairperson of the Medical Commission of MMA India Federation.
We managed to catch up with Divya during the 6th Bengaluru Open MMA Championship for an exclusive interview where she detail how the athletes of Team India are preparing for the IMMAF World Championship 2021 and also about her experience at the 6th Bengaluru Open MMA Championship 2021 which was held from 16th - 19th December 2021 at The Forum Neighbourhood Mall in Whitefield, Bengaluru. She will be accompanying Team India for the IMMAF World Championship 2021 as the Team Physio.
For the uninitiated, the IMMAF World Championship 2021 is scheduled to happen from January 24th to January 29th at the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Abu Dhabi. This is IMMAF's first World Championship in 2 years.
The Indian Team comprising of a total contingent of 15 players, 2 coaches, 1 manager, 2 doctors, and 1 nutritionist along with 5 officials who have been selected by IMMAF for officiating in the Championship will be heading to Abu Dhabi for the Championship in January.
