Dern and Maia: Danielle Kelly lists UFC names she wants to grapple after Rose

Danielle Kelly is all set to lock horns with Rose Namajunas at Fury Pro Grappling 3 on December 30. The event, which will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass will also feature a string of UFC fighters including Donald Cerrone, Kevin Holland, and Chase Hooper among others.

Ahead of her high-profile showdown with the UFC Strawweight champion, Kelly sat down with UFC to list down some of the UFC names that she would like to grapple with.

The most interesting name that poked up in the list was that of Mackenzie Dern who came into the UFC ranks following her grappling journey.

“Mackenzie Dern is up there. I would love to go against her because she’s actually a jiu-jitsu world champion,” Kelly notes.

Though she is no longer with the UFC, Ronda Rousey is another name that interests Danielle Kelly.

“It was always cool to see her grapple girls and take them out,” Kelly said.

Kelly is apparently open to inter-gender matches with UFC athletes as well with the most notable name in her list being Demian Maia.

“I always wanted to grapple Demian Maia because he’s actually known for his jiu-jitsu. That’d be cool,” she said.
