Brian Kelleher is all set to fight Umar Nurmagomedov in a Bantamweight bout at UFC 272 and he wants Conor McGregor to corner him for the fight.

Kelleher tweeted out his request to the former UFC champion last day on Twitter.

“@TheNotoriousMMA hey would you like to corner me in my next fight at ufc 272 against khabibs cousin umar,” Kelleher wrote.

Kelleher is currently on a two-fight winning streak and holds a professional MMA record of 24-12 to his name.

Umar, on the other hand, is the cousin of former UFC Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and holds an undefeated record of 13-0 to his name.

He made his UFC debut back in January 2021 and secured a submission win over Sergey Morozov. The Dagestani fighter will be making his return after a gap of more than a year and Khabib Nurmagomedov is expected to be in his corner for the fight as well.
