Russian standout Ikram Aliskerov is set for a comeback after a few months in the sidelines, with the main event spot guaranteed for his return to Middleweight. Aliskerov will take on newcomer Diego Gonzalez as he looks to position himself again as a top contender in the weight class, which recently crowned its first world champion in Daniel "Gaucho".

The bout is scheduled as the main attraction of BRAVE CF 33, which takes place on December 27th, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Aliskerov will be making his return to Middleweight division after his latest fight, his first professional loss to Khamzat Chimaev at Welterweight. Before that, the Russian powerhouse had amassed a five-win streak inside the BRAVE CF Arena, with four of those coming at Middleweight.

Before venturing into the Welterweight division, Ikram was on the cusp of a title shot in the upper class, a place he hopes to regain with a win over Diego Gonzalez, who hails from Sweden and trains at the famed AllStars Training Center, with the likes of Khamzat Chimaev himself, Alexander Gustafsson, Jimi Manuwa, and Reza Madadi.

Him and Gonzalez were scheduled to fight before, at BRAVE CF 14, but Gonzalez was forced to pull out due to undisclosed reasons and now the fight more than a year in the making will finally take place.

BRAVE CF 33 marks the second time the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world lands in Saudi Arabia, after BRAVE CF 21, which also took place in December, last year.
