Brandon Vera joins Aung La N Sang and Martin Nguyen at Sanford MMA

ONE Championship Heavyweight champion Brandon Vera has joined the Sanford MMA training camp. Sanford MMA is home to ONE Light Heavyweight Champion Aung La N Sang and former ONE championship champion Martin Nguyen and a string of other exciting MMA stars.

Brandon Vera made the announcement through his social media page and thanked the Sanford MMA team for the warm welcome.

“I am humbled and honored for Coach Henri Hooft, Aung La N Sang, and the whole group Sanford MMA for welcoming me into the fold. Iron sharpens Iron and during this #corona world it’s hard to find a fire burning hot enough, let alone them inviting you in [with] open arms.” He noted on his Instagram page.

Vera was scheduled to defend his Heavyweight title against Arjan Bhullar back in May but the fight was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. It would be interesting to see what the future holds for him.

Aung La N Sang, meanwhile, will be back in action at ONE on TNT when he fights Vitaly Bigdash in a potential title eliminator. Martin Nguyen will also be returning to action at the ONE on TNT series which will also feature names like Demetrious Johnson, Eddie Alvarez among others.
