43-year-old Brandon Vera meanwhile, holds a record of 16-8 to his nam e having fought in the UFC, WEC and NLF before joining ONE Championship. He has fought huge names like Jon Jones, Fabricio Werdum, Ben Rothwell, Shogun Rua, and Randy Couture during his run in the UFC. 11 out of Vera’s 16 wins have come via TKO or KO.

Momentum:

Arjan is currently on a three-fight winning streak. His last fight came against Mauro Cerilli in ONE Championship which he won via a unanimous decision. Prior to that, he had won two of his fights in the UFC as well.

Brandon Vera, meanwhile, is coming off a loss against Aung La N Sang. However, this defeat came in Light Heavyweight Category. Before this, Vera was undefeated in ONE Championship with four wins out of which two were successful title defenses.

Key Factors:

Both Vera and Arjan are accomplished fighters on the ground. Arjan is a Commonwealth games medallist in Wrestling when Vera is an NCAA Division 1 Wrestler and a BJJ Black Belt. They both have good striking to showcase as well-meaning that this fight could go anywhere.

Vera has been training at Sanford MMA which was home for the likes of Aung La N Sang, Kamaru Usman, and Michael Chandler among others. This makes matters more interesting.
