BRAVE CF 57 will be headlined by the BRAVE CF Bantamweight title showdown between Brad Katona and Hamza Kooheji. A new champion will be crowned at the event when these two lock horns and while the champion is yet to be decided, Katona is aware of the challenge that is rising in the Bantamweight division.
Speaking exclusively to us, Katona revealed that he sees Indian MMA star Mohammed Farhad as a potential title contender.
“Mohammed Farhad, he had a beautiful performance at BRAVE CF 47 and I remember watching it and it was nice. It feels nice to have those guys underneath me as it makes me feel that those are future title contenders. And who knows after this, there is a potential so I’m excited to be sharing the card, hotel, and space and seeing these guys. Sizing him up but not in a hostile way, just you know, It is nice to see him and potentially defend the title against them,” he said.
Mohammed Farhad has been on an impressive run in BRAVE Combat Federation and is 4-1 in the promotion with all his wins coming via stoppages. His only loss in the promotion came against Hamza Kooheji in Bahrain.
Farhad will be looking to produce another viral knockout when he fights undefeated Egyptian Mohamed at BRAVE CF 57. The Indian had a long camp which saw him train in Dagestan, Mumbai and Nagaland and noted that he will be looking for another stoppage when he steps into the cage for BRAVE CF 57 in Bahrain.
