Former World Champion Aung La N Sang is all praise for his rival Vitaly Bigdash. Aung La and Bigdash fought three times in the ONE championship with Bigdash winning twice and Aung La winning once.

After his most recent win against Aung La, Bigdash is all set to fight Reinier De Ridder for the ONE Championship Middleweight title at ONE 159. Interestingly, Aung La has already fought De Ridder on two occasions with losses in both the fights. De Ridder had won the Middleweight title from Aung La making it an interesting dynamic.

In his recent interview with ONE Championship, Aung La noted that Bigdash is very strong.

“Physically, [Bigdash] is very strong. Skill set-wise, he has good striking, but he has great wrestling and submissions as well. If your defense is not on point, or something’s not on point, he will take advantage of that. He’s very sharp in terms of MMA fight IQ, and he’s always in tremendous shape,” he noted.

Aung La and Bigdash have fought a total of 13 rounds against each other as all their three fights went the distance. The first-two fights were five-rounders when the third fight was a three-rounder.

Bigdash goes into the fight with De Ridder with a professional record of 12-2 to his name and is on a three-fight winning streak at the moment. He joined ONE Championship back in 2015 and has only lost to Aung La and Leandro Ataides in the promotion.

Aung La, on the other hand, is 2-3 in his last five fights with his losses coming against Reinier De Ridder and Vitaly Bigdash.
