Aung La N Sang will be making his MMA return at ONE on TNT IV when he fights Vitaly Bigdash in a trilogy bout. Amidst the ongoing crisis back at his home of Myanmar, the ONE Championship star is trying to focus on the title fight so that he can put a nail in the Vitaly Bigdash rivalry.
The ONE Championship Light Heavyweight Champion talked to Fight Night Picks’ John Hyon Ko recently and in the interview, he gave his reaction about the ongoing crisis in Myanmar.
“They see me as a hero. But I’m just a regular man with a family, who is a professional fighter by trade. I can’t fight the military. I would read people’s comments and it would bug me and hurt me. In training, I couldn’t really focus I had to set a time for it and go on with my life. My life being a father, being a husband, being a professional fighter and being in camp for the biggest fight of my career,” he said in the interview.
He also went on to express how important the fight with Bigdash is for him.
“Bigdash made me who I am today; he’s the reason I moved down to Florida. If you see my last three years, it has catapulted me. The reason being was Vitaly Bigdash. I want to put the nail in the coffin. I want to do it in a way he never wants to fight me again,” he added.
