Not shaving until I get the belt back, says Aung La N Sang

Aung La N Sang is on a mission to recapture his ONE World titles and he has no plans to shave his beard until he reaches there.

The Burmese Python revealed the same during his recent interview with ONE Championship and even joked that his wife is getting tired of the beard.

“It doesn’t matter who’s next. I just want to keep competing and keep getting better. I want the belt back eventually, but it’s up to ONE. I’m not shaving until I get my belt back, and my wife’s getting pretty tired of my beard [laughs],” he said.

Aung La N Sang lost the ONE Middleweight title and the ONE Light Heavyweight title to Reinier De Ridder last year but had bounced back strongly from the two losses when he knocked out Leandro Ataides.

He is now set to fight Vitaly Bigdash in a Middleweight bout at ONE: Full Circle and the former champion notes that he is having a great camp for the fight.

“Great. It’s been a great camp. A little long, but we did all the homework. We did everything right, so I’m excited to put on a show. My pain threshold is very high, and I’m just ready for war,” he said.
