Ahead of their main event showdown at ONE: Inside the Matrix, both Aung La N Sang and Reinier De Ridder are high in confidence.

Last day, during an interview with ONE Championship, De Ridder had noted that he plans to take down and choke out Aung La N Sang and now, in the reigning Middleweight Champion Aung La N Sang has reacted to the comment.

In his interview with Sherdog, Aung La N Sang noted that he is not a one-trick pony.

“He’s just saying that. He doesn’t even believe it. I think he is [underestimating my grappling]. But only time will tell. I’m not a one-trick pony. I’m constantly trying to evolve. Constantly trying to get better [and] become a better version of myself. So for him to say that, it’s kind of ridiculous. In a lot of his interviews, he [says] he’s the missing puzzle piece. He even said he’s going to submit me in 10 seconds. He’ll know right away when he grabs me that he’s dealing with something else.” N Sang told in his interview with Sherdog.

Earlier, Aung La N Sang had also said that the fight will not go the distance and is likely to end in a stoppage.

Apart from the Middleweight Title showdown between Aung La N Sang and De Ridder, the fight card will feature Christian Lee vs Iuri Lapicus for the ONE Lightweight title when Martin Nguyen vs Thanh Le for the ONE Featherweight title will also be on the card. Xiong Jing Nan vs Tiffany Teo for the ONE Strawweight title will be the fourth title fight on the card.
