Newly crowned ONE Heavyweight Champion Arjan Bhullar had an interesting message in his post-fight speech. Arjan, who became the first Indian-origin fighter to win the ONE Championship belt, called out WWE and AEW superstars and said that he is coming for the Professional wrestling industry next.
The Canadian-Indian defeated Brandon Vera last night at ONE: Dangal to win the ONE Heavyweight title also said that he reached the pinnacle of the sport by winning.
“I’ve reached the pinnacle of this sport now I want to attack the pro-wrestling industry. AEW, WWE, I’m coming for you guys next, consider this a warning shot,” Arjan said.
Interestingly, ONE Championship has a good relationship with TNT on which AEW is currently being broadcasted. Earlier, ONE Championship fighter and MMA Legend Vitor Belfort had appeared on AEW as well.
Arjan currently holds a professional record of 11-1 to his name and was the first Indian-Origin fighter to compete in the UFC where he secured a professional record of 3-1. Apart from Arjan’s win, ONE: Dangal also witnessed the end of Ritu Phogat’s undefeated run as she was defeated by Bi Nguyen via a split decision after three close rounds.
