Arjan Singh Bhullar calls out Jake Hager, wants Bellator vs. ONE fight in AEW

ONE Championship Heavyweight champion Arjan Singh Bhullar has issued a challenge to Jake Hager.

Arjan, who recently won the ONE Heavyweight title by defeating Brandon Vera, issued a challenge to AEW and Bellator star Jake Hager through Twitter today.

“Hey @RealJakeHager congrats on that squash match w/Wardlow. How bout we give the fans a real fight inside the @AEW squared circle live on @tntdrama and @AEWonTNT? Bellator vs ONE. Winner gets the mace of Hanuman and the right to be called the #GodOfWrestling,” he tweeted.

Arjan had earlier called out WWE and AEW wrestlers after winning the ONE Heavyweight title and in an exclusive interview with us, he had also noted that he is interested in fighting Bobby Lashley or Jake Hager.

“In All Elite, I like Jake Hager, He is a Bellator Fighter. He is supposed to be the tough guy, I’d like to get in there with him.  I like what the Inner Circle and Pinnacle, what they got going on. I like Taz, the FTW belt, I like that. Over in WWE, Jinder [Mahal] is there, Shanky is there, Veer is there, these guys. I like Bobby Lashley, another Bellator Fighter, who wrestled at a high level before that. I like that as well. There are options everywhere,” he said in the interview with us earlier. 

When asked about the call out, here is what he had to say:

“I’m picking a fight with them. That’s the plan. They got a lot of tough guys out there and I think I’m the biggest and baddest and I want to go out there and mix it up with them. Doesn’t matter which company or promotion, I want to take on the industry, and whoever steps up and sits at the table with us, that’s the one we are going after,”

Hager made his MMA debut back in 2019 and has a professional record of 3-0 to his name from four fights. He won his first two fights via submission when his third win came via a split decision against Brandon Calton back in October 2020.

Arjan, on the other hand, has experience of competing in the UFC on his resume and holds a professional MMA record of 11-1 to his name.

Update: Arjan has also called out Bobby Lashley.
