Ali Abdelaziz wants to see Gina Carano going up against Kayla Harrison in the PFL. Ali was reacting to the recent interview with Carano where she refused to rule out the possibility of returning to fight former UFC champion, Ronda Rousey. Ali tweeted out the following reacting to the news.
“This is song OK I would love to see @ginacarano come to PFL and fight @KaylaH can you guys make this happen @SugarRaySefo @PeteMurrayPFL @DonnDavisPFL,” wrote Ali.
Carano last fought back in 2009 at Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg where she suffered the first loss of her MMA career. Carano was stopped by Cris Cyborg in the first round of the fight prior to which Carano was on a seven-fight winning streak after making her debut in 2006. The American then moved out away from fighting and started focusing on her acting career.
Recently, Ronda Rousey had noted that she would be willing to come out of retirement only to fight Carano which is how the entire discussion started in the first place.
Kayla Harrison, on the other hand, is currently undefeated in her professional MMA career and holds a record of 13-0 to her name. she has been unstoppable in the Professional Fighters League so far and has fought in Invicta FC as well.
The former Olympic Gold Medallist has won 10 of her fights via finishes as well with the wins equally split between submissions and stoppages.
