Usman Nurmagomedov secured a huge win over Benson Henderson in the main event of Bellator 292 today.
After dropping Henderson with a high kick, 24-year-old Nurmagomedov applied a rear-naked choke to terminate the contest.
The victory brings Nurmagomedov's career's unbeaten streak to 17. The Russian also goes to the Lightweight Grand Prix semifinals of Bellator. American Henderson, 39, who had a successful 17-year career, announced his retirement after losing.
Henderson, who won the UFC lightweight championship in 2012, finished his career with 30 victories from 42 fights.

Bellator CEO Scott Coker referred to the Lightweight Grand Prix as the "toughest tournament I've ever seen" because it featured seven current and previous champions in Nurmagomedov, Henderson, Pitbull, AJ McKee, Brent Primus, Mansour Barnaoui, and Tofiq Musayev.
In the semifinal match, which takes place on May 12 in Paris, Nurmagomedov will compete against the victor of Barnaoui vs. Primus. In the other quarterfinal of the evening, Russia's Alexandr Shabliy defeated Azerbaijan's Musayev with a front kick finish in round three.
In the final four, Shabliy, 29, will compete against American McKee or Brazilian Pitbull.
While the victory of Nurmagomedov has already made news, his move at the post-fight press conference is now making the headlines.
